BatteryPark.TV is social networking with original multimedia content. You can contribute your own comments, photos, and stories.

Not to be picky, but please do not call BatteryPark.TV a “blog”. The term “blog” implies a one-person operation with text-only content posted to a website. “Blog” content is often copied from other sites, without proper reference, and aggregated on the blog, such as The Huffington Post made infamous.

In contrast. BatteryPark.TV is a genuine video production, with on-camera hosts, producers, editor, cameramen, and national guests. Also, 99% of our content is original, with a rare reference to a New York Times story related to Downtown, etc.

BatteryPark.TV is an expensive operation made possible by personal donations.

BatteryPark.TV is a not-for-profit labor of love, essentially. We make no attempt to harass local stores and restaurants for advertisements. We accept no funding from the BPCA, LMDC, city or state. This freedom of bias allows us to produce unique investigative reporting.
